It has been revealed that everything you’ve unlocked in Modern Warfare 2 (2022), from weapons and camos to attachments and bundles, will all carry over to Modern Warfare 3 (2023). This means that all of your current Operators, all completed camo challenges, and even your Double XP Tokens will be available in Modern Warfare 3 when it drops on November 10th.
This is monumental news for some but a kick in the teeth for others. On one hand, it means that all the money spent on bundles and all the time spent grinding for Orion has paid off. On the other, it means that Modern Warfare 3 does look a little bit like an expansion of Modern Warfare 2.
It All Goes With You
If you’ve put thousands of hours into Modern Warfare 2 (you maniac) and worked to unlock every camo, completed every challenge, and built the perfect weapons in every category, we’ve got good news. None of that time was spent (wasted?) in vain – you’ll have everything you’ve created, unlocked, bought, and completed ready and waiting in Modern Warfare 3.
There’s plenty of time for those that didn’t complete all those challenges to get some wrapped up before the game drops in November – it means that you won’t hit the ground in Modern Warfare 3 empty-handed or flat broke with stock weapons. Bear in mind that you’ll still be able to level up those MW2 weapons and complete challenges for them in MW3, though.
