Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion Possibly Teased For MultiVersus

In a recent post on X, Player 1st Games’ community manager @AJAX_HQ possibly teased that Scorpion from Mortal Kombat is coming to MultiVersus.

The post is a reply to fan-made concept art of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat as they might appear in MultiVersus. The post only includes an “eyes” emoji, but that does still suggest the fans should watch out for related news.

Since Warner Bros. owns NetherRealm, and Warner Bros. Games is the publisher behind MultiVersus, the collaboration does seem possible. If Scorpion does join the roster, it could open the door for other Mortal Kombat characters like Sub-Zero.

The community manager, @AJAX_HQ, has previously teased other concrete information. Just this week, they teased the anticipated Agent Smith via Twitter with a “sunglasses” emoji.

MultiVersus unveiled a new Agent Smith “Sounds Like Inevitability” trailer with gameplay today ahead of the character’s launch. A new press release from Player 1st Games says that Agent Smith “will join the roster on July 8 as part of Season 1: Puns & Villainy.”

Although @AJAX_HQ may have teased Scorpion, Player 1st Games did not officially confirm anything about them joining the MultiVersus roster at this time.

In late May 2024, new leaks surfaced hinting at some of the other characters and stages possibly coming to MultiVersus. Some of those included Daffy Duck, Samurai Jack, Candy Kingdom, and more.
