A dataminer has leaked upcoming DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 1, which is said to include Terminators T-1000.
According to the leaker interloko via YouTube, six upcoming characters will soon be coming to Mortal Kombat 1. While the leaker says that the information is “100% confirmed” in his video, it should be stressed that this information has been datamined and has the potential to not be released. That being said, the six characters include:
- Cyrax
- Sektor
- Noob Saibot
- Ghostface
- Conan the Barbarian
- T-1000
In addition to the six characters, the leaker also found references to five new game announcers and two brand-new arenas.
In September 2023, dataminers had already found code references to Ghost Face, which Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon teased in a tweet. Back then, the same dataminer who found references to Ghost Face also found references for Noob Saibot, Cyrax, and Conan the Barbarian.
The recent findings could suggest that the characters are nearing a release.

Where’s the Aftermath when does it come out? This roster is bad and people wonder why this game is dead. I think it would be better if they start their next game already apparently John Tobias is working at WB Games now just give him back Mortal Kombat and let him reboot it or continue it the way he wanted he can ignore the modern games. I’d be fine if he went back to 3D even just get Ed Boon away from the series and John back.
Travis Scott was supposed to be in this game is he voicing Noob? Where’s Jade? I guess no Onaga like everyone wanted them again this game was just bad it ruined MK. Netherrealm should start on their next game already if they haven’t and learn Unreal Engine 5 it’s too late for Injustice 3. Maybe work with Man Of Action and make a Ben 10/Generator Rex game instead to appeal to a younger generation.
These are the worst guest characters in MK but my question is are they making Injustice 3 and how far away is it because this was garbage! Hire Kyle Higgins or Scott Snyder to write Injustice 3 and find a way to get Static in the game fix the damage from this stinker.
NRS should just remake the 3D era games instead of making new MK games.
They won’t Ed hates those games he pretends to like them now to try and get that audience to buy into the new games. Li Mei was done so bad in this game then the weird Mileena and Tanya stuff. The story itself made no sense in those game why did Liu Kang allow this? Why did he give up his powers? 11 was the perfect send off.
NRS should be shut down. John Tobias is starting a new studio with WB they should just give him MK.
The rumor is that Cyrax will be a girl now can you confirm that?
I assume Ed Boon picked these guests it just looks like booker trash that no one besides him wanted.
If you mean boomer then yes. Ed I think tried to get the Evil Superman characters because he saw the hype around them but he’s striking out with these. Funny Spawn has had nothing since his guest appearance is this version of Terminator coming back? Is a new Conan project happening?
What about Konquest mode? What about Kai, Onaga, Kobra, Sareena as a main, Hotaru, and others from the 3D era? It’s like Ed just lied to people.
That’s what Ed does. Its been clear no matter what he says that MK 1 was supposed to be IJ 3 but he changed it last minute now he’s stuck in a rough place you see him squirming online normally he just trolls now he sees the backlash.
They’re beating a dead horse at this point it would be best to move on now to get a head start on a new game and get it out sooner rather than later you don’t want or need another situation like this with a 5+ year wait between games and you would want to be in UE5 by then instead of now learning UE4. Learn from this and remove the problems the gear systems, paid moves, paywalls, characters restricted to online only, board game mode, and kameos and have successful online at launch.
Lame! This game needs a miracle either that or they finally move on I don’t think they can survive another 5 year wait between games.
These are the worst guest characters imaginable. I don’t think anyone is buying KP 2 like they did 1 at least 2 of the guest characters there and Takeda are cool. This gives me MK 11 vibes but worse those guests were ass. I’m guessing we get Arnold again.
Is NRS working on there next title already and will it finally be in UE5?
I’ve heard no one at NRS wanted to make this game they were overworked with 11 and still dealing with trauma from the gruesome imagery they were forced to watch as well as toxic work environment which hasn’t improved. That’s why this game is suffering so much and it takes so long for reveals. Normally Aftermath would be revealed now but with how rough the studio is this isn’t happening.
