New rumors online suggest that both Shipment and Shoothouse could be returning to Modern Warfare 2 for Season 1 which launches on November 16.
The maps, apparently found within the game files suggest that the maps will be coming to the game in the near future.
Shoot House was a fan-favorite from Modern Warfare 2 2019 and Shipment has returned to Call of Duty multiple times since it was introduced in Modern Warfare 2007.
The news has been met with mixed criticism though, with replies from the CharlieINTEL Twitter account being mixed.
“Huge L if true. We had that maps for to long. Nothing more disappointing than that drop imo. Fan favorite maps. Lol the real fav maps haven’t been in for years. Terminal, highrise, skidrow, afgan, invasion, derail, subbase.. That’s classic stuff..” said Twitter user @ItsEdSnow.
Others welcomed the news, saying that the current maps in Modern Warfare 2 are lackluster compared with the rumored returning maps.
