During the Xbox Partner Preview event on Wednesday, fans were given a look at the first in-engine footage of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake.
“Explore the First In-Engine Look at METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER, currently under development using Unreal Engine 5,” the trailer’s description reads. “All of the game’s environments are rendered in UE5 and captured in-game in real time.”
Currently in development, the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. There’s no release date yet, but the development team at Konami does have a message on the game’s website.

“Currently, the development team are working together to create an environment where fans can experience and enjoy the METAL GEAR series on the latest platforms,” Konami says. “We are working hard for METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER to be a faithful recreation of the original story and game design, while evolving the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience.”
