Megan From KATSEYE to Feature in Valorant Masters Santiago New Agent Showmatch

Valorant has announced that Megan from KATSEYE will be a player in the Valorant Masters Santiago new agent showmatch. The singer forms one-sixth of KATSEYE’s iconic girl group, but will trade a microphone for a keyboard and mouse in Santiago.

Megan of KATSEYE’s connection with Valorant

KATSEYE had previously collaborated with Valorant for a remix of KATSEYE’s song ‘M.I.A.’ The Remix was created for the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025, which Team Liquid Brazil went on to win.

Megan, as a player of the game, was a special emphasis of the marketing for the song. The singer stated, “When Riot asked us to reimagine M.I.A for Game Changers, as a gamer, I was like YES! That song has always been about confidence and showing up as your best self, and that message aligns so much with what Game Changers stands for.”

Riot Games Lead Music Supervisor celebrated Megan’s involvement, saying, “Megan’s connection as a player made the collaboration feel that much more authentic. It’s inspiring to see artists who genuinely connect with our game come together to celebrate Game Changers.”

The song was used as part of Riot Games’ ‘GO OFF’ campaign for the Game Changers event, featuring in an animated Valorant-themed music video for promotion of the event.

New Agent showmatch details

The New Agent showmatch is a tradition at Masters events, allowing fans to see a new Agent in action before its general release. Megan will be playing in the match, which takes place immediately before the Grand Finals on March 15, starting at 17:00 GMT/13:00 EST.

Joining Megan on the server will be a mix of content creators, pros, and former pros. On her team, Cloud9 content creator Heitor ‘tck10’ Tomazela captains the team, with Game Changers legend Paula ‘bstrdd’ Naguil, 2022 VCT champion Gustavo ‘Sacy’ Rossi, and content creator Daniel ‘furq’ Furquim joining her on the server.

On team ‘Completo Gaming,’ Argentine broadcast host Malena ‘Suga’ Souto is joined by ENVY’s Angelo ‘keznit’ Mor, retired Valo veteran Óscar ‘mixwell’ Cañellas, DJ Nate ‘BUNT.’ Traveler, and streamer, SoyPan.
