Recently, imagery has surfaced online directly suggesting that none other than Master Chief will be making his way into Rainbow Six Siege. It’s not the first time Ubisoft has run cross-franchise collaboration events, but it’d be a first for the near eight-year-old competitive first-person shooter to feature a skin from HALO – and such an epic skin at that.
It would reportedly arrive in the form of an ‘Elite Skin’ for the classic Operator named ‘Sledge’. That’s typically how these skins find their way into the game, at least. Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed the leak and it’s yet to be independently corroborated, but there’s a clip circulating on social media that looks absolutely fantastic – and honestly, I want it to be true.
Is Master Chief Coming to Siege?
In the clip that was circulated online by user Klobrille – who has a fantastic track record for things like this – we can see Master Chief posing in the Operator selection menu, wielding a beefy hammer that he’ll undoubtedly use to lay waste to barricades. That’s the chief goal for anyone assuming control of Sledge, after all.

It’s not expected that this crossover will come as part of the latest update – Operation Heavy Mettle – which drops on August 29th, but it could arrive later in the year.
Ultimately, it’s not so far-fetched a crossover or a collaboration – Master Chief has made appearances in many games via those means in the past. This is the latest in a long line of crossovers to feature what is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable characters in gaming history.
What do you think? Will you be purchasing whatever bundle could contain the Master Chief Elite skin for Sledge?
