With its launch expected later this year, a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has gotten a new trailer.
The trailer was apparently spotted on the Australian ESPN, and then uploaded online. In it, no actual gameplay is shown. Instead, it’s a live-action look at a news broadcast talking about a group of criminal being caught. The camera then shows the criminals in a massive webbing before you see Peter Parker on an apartment balcony, and Miles Morales swinging through the air.

Spider-Man 2 is the official sequel to 2018’s Marvel Spider-Man. Insomniac did release an second game in the form of 2020’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, though it wasn’t classified as a true sequel in the series.
The new game will include Peter Parker, Miles Morales as heroes. Venom and Kraven the Hunter are also going to be featured as two of the game’s villains. Other details are expected to come as the build up to the game’s release continues.
Spider-Man 2 is expected to launch in the fall of 2023 for PlayStation 5. One thing to note, the trailer shows a “Spring 2023” release. For most parts of the country, Australia’s spring begins on September 1.
