Marvel’s Midnight Suns Playthrough Leaked Amidst Positive Reviews

Marvel’s Midnight Suns officially launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 2nd, but some players are pulling the sneaky timezone trick to gain early access. On YouTube, one user proceeded to upload almost 12 hours of content, showcasing the game a day early as the positive reviews come rolling in.

As something slightly different for the superhero scene, Marvel’s Midnight Suns boasts tactical turn-based strategy gameplay, and reportedly, it does it very well. It has been developed by Firaxis, a studio best known for the newer XCOM titles, arguably some of the best turn-based strategy games in the business.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Leaks, But Is It A Big Deal?

For some, the marketing journey driving the publicity of Marvel’s Midnight Suns was lacking somewhat, with some users online apparently having forgotten the game is even launching. On Reddit, one user posted:

I forgot this was even coming out. They had a trailer at Summer Game Fest I think, then there has been zero marketing since.

On a YouTube channel bolstered by two subscribers, almost twelve hours of footage was leaked, revealing everything anyone would need to know about the game. If you’re not a fan of turn-based combat, it’s a much slower representation of the superhero genre, but admittedly, it does look quite impressive.

As the reviews roll out, it seems as though outlets are in positive spirits about Marvel’s Midnight Suns. According to Empire Online, it’s ‘one of the best tactical RPGs in years‘, and The Guardian spoke of the density of the game, saying ‘this is a hugely challenging game, with dozens of hours of play’.

There’s an all-star Marvel cast ready and willing to be controlled in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, from Iron Man and Wolverine to Blade and Ghost Rider. For any Marvel aficionado, it’s an absolute must-have.

The publishing of the Midnight Suns video was just the latest in a long line of recent leaks. Recently, the entire story for The Callisto Protocol was leaked online, and weeks ago, the gaming world was sent reeling by a massive GTA 6 leak.

Who knows what’ll happen next?
