A new season beckons in Marvel Rivals, which means a fresh batch of changes to the Team-Up Abilities in the game, and we’ve got all the details for the changes in Season 5.
Season 5 in Marvel Rivals introduces Gambit and Rogue as the latest playable characters, expanding the roster of playable heroes even further, and new Team-Up Abilities will certainly shake up the core of the game.

Marvel Rivals Season 5 Team-Up Ability Changes

A full breakdown of all the Team-Up Ability changes in Marvel Rivals Season 5 is below, split into new abilities, adjusted abilities, and the removed abilities.

New Team-Up Abilities
Three new Team-Up Abilities are being added to Marvel Rivals in the new season, including an addition for Gambit after his arrival.
Gambit and Magneto combine in the new Explosive Entanglement Team-Up Ability, while Cloak & Dagger unite with Hawkeye for the Sword of Duality Team-Up. Finally, Blade and Moon Knight join forces for the Blade of Khonshu.

Adjusted Team-Up Abilities
Three Team-Up Abilities are being tweaked in Season 5, with two removals from existing Team-Ups and one character addition.
With the new Explosive Entanglement and Sword of Duality Team-Up Abilities, Magneto and Hawkeye have been removed from Mental Projection and Chilling Assault, respectively. Meanwhile, Black Widow has been added to the Primal Flame Team-Up.

Removed Team-Up Abilities
Two Team-Up Abilities have been retired for the new season and removed from the game, impacting a total of five characters—though some of which have received new Team-Ups or adjustments as a result.
The Luna Force Team-Up, combining Cloak & Dagger, Moon Knight, and Blade. has been retired, with those heroes moving into new Team-Up abilities with the Sword of Duality and Blade of Khonshu.
Meanwhile, Operation: Microchip has also been retired, with Black Widow moving to the Primal Flame Team-Up as a result. There’s no new Team-Up or adjustment for Punisher at this stage.
