NetEase and Marvel Games have official announced Marvel Rivals, a free-to-play team-based shooter that will launch first on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
“Assemble your favorite Marvel characters and engage in 6v6 battles, utilizing brand-new Team-Up Skills in destructible locations from across the Marvel Multiverse!” the description for the official announce trailer reads.
The game features a cel-shaded art style and plays from a third-person perspective.
Marvel Rivals will have a Closed Alpha test in April that will feature 12 heroes including Spider-Man, Magneto, Black Panther, and Magik.
A Beta for the game will follow that in May.
Other heroes that will be available in the full game include Iron Man, Rocket Racoon, The Incredible Hulk, Groot, Doctor Strange, Luna Snow, Namor, Loki, and many more.
A date for the full release of the game wasn’t revealed.
