Mario Vs. Donkey Kong Announced During Nintendo Direct

Nintendo has announced a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong game during the Nintendo Direct on Thursday.

The game reimagines the classic experience of the classic Game Boy Advanced title with modern visuals and gameplay. In addition, it will include local co-op.

“The rivalry that heated up on the Game Boy Advance system reignites in this updated version of the game,” Nintendo says. “With his eyes on the prize, Donkey Kong has stolen all the Mini-Mario toys from the factory and it’s up to Mario to rescue them! In this updated version of the game, you can play with a friend in local co-op.”

You can check out the trailer for the game below via Nintendo.

Launching on February 16, pre-orders open for the game on the Nintendo eShop on Thursday.
