After revealing it briefly during the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo has confirmed full details for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4, including all tracks and its release date.
This wave of tracks follows the launch of Wave 3 back in December, continuing the trend of new courses every three months or so.
Originally revealed was a brand new course known as Yoshi’s Island as well as the introduction of Birdo as a playable character in the game. But now there are seven more confirmed tracks coming players’ way on March 9.
The full track listing is as follows:
- Tour Singapore Speedway
- Tour Bangkok Rush
- Wii DK Summit
- Tour Amsterdam Drift
- GBA Riverside Park
- DS Mario Circuit
- GCN Waluigi Stadium
- Yoshi’s Island
After this set of tracks launch, there will only be two more course packs released for the game. In addition to the courses, however, Nintendo has confirmed that more characters from past Mario Kart games are coming.
As of December, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 52 million units, according to VGChartz. The total makes it the best-selling game in the nearly six-year history of the Nintendo Switch.
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is available for $24.99. Those who subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack plan receive the DLC for free.
