Marathon has finally arrived, and just like every other live service title, you bet your bottom dollar that there’s a Season Pass at launch.
In Marathon, it’s called a Rewards Pass, and the first one has arrived alongside the game’s launch. It features over 50 items for you to unlock, but you’ll need to earn a special currency: Silk. However, it’s not entirely obvious how you earn it, and you won’t want to miss it, as the Rewards Pass has some nifty cosmetics up for grabs.
If you want to make a start on Marathon’s Season 1 Rewards Pass, then you’re in the right place. This guide will explain how you can earn Silk, whilst also showcasing all of the rewards on offer.
How To Earn Silk In Marathon
In order to earn Silk in Marathon, you’ll need to level up your Season Level, which can be seen in the top left of the home screen.
You’ll increase your Season Level by heading out on Runs and completing Contracts for the various in-game Factions. Unfortunately, you can’t see the reward path for the Season, but believe in the fact that you’ll earn bundles of Silk with every level-up, with level 100 being the cap.

However, once you’ve earned some Silk, make sure you spend it fairly quickly, as there’s a limit to how much you can store. You can only have up to 140 Silk to your name at once, so once you’ve earned enough to unlock the next reward in the Pass, it’s best you do so sooner rather than later.
Every Item In Marathon’s Season 1 Rewards Pass
There are technically 52 items to unlock in Marathon’s Season 1 Rewards Pass, though most of the rewards are bundled into pairs: one for the regular Rewards Pass, and one for the Premium.
Thankfully, these rewards are purely cosmetic, so don’t feel like you need to buy the Premium to gain an advantage. That being said, some awesome skins are behind the paywall, so if you’re into rocking the best fits in the game, you might be interested.
