Marathon Gameplay Reveal Showcase Announced For April 12

The veil is set to be pulled off of Marathon as Bungie has announced that a gameplay reveal showcase for the upcoming extraction shooter is set to take place on Saturday, April 12.

The event will air at 1pm ET/10am PT on the game’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

Specific details on the showcase aside from a look at gameplay haven’t been announced just yet. That said, it’s expected that players will get more information about a release window and any upcoming beta events.

Over the last few days, Bungie has been posting teases on social media as well as updating the game’s profile pages on Steam, YouTube, and elsewhere. Marathon is expected to be a three-player extraction shooter. In June 2023, Insider Gaming exclusively reported on the planned gameplay loop Bungie was going for with its new game.
