Maps Are Being Pulled From Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Due To Spawn Issues

The multiplayer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has only been live for less than 24 hours, and already Activision is pulling maps from rotation.

“Quarry, Rundown, and Scrapyard have been temporarily removed from Hardpoint playlists while we investigate an issue causing unfavorable spawns,” the official Call of Duty Updates Twitter account posted.

Later on, the account posted that it was removing the Karachi map from the Cutthroast playlist in order to “resolve an issue causing a player to spawn alongside enemies.”

Modern Warfare 3 launched with 16 6v6 maps and three ground war maps. More are also planned to come to the game via monthly updates.

Hopefully, they don’t have the same issues that a quarter of the launch maps have had so far.

Insider Gaming has reached out to both Activision and Sledgehammer Games for comment on the many spawn point issues in Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer maps. So far, all requests have gone unanswered.
