Little Nightmares 3 ‘The Backstage’ DLC Coming Next Week

The Backstage will soon be available in Little Nightmares 3. The new DLC expansion drops next week.

During the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2026, it was revealed that The Backstage DLC will drop on Friday, June 12, 2026. The trailer shown revealed that the expansion will take players “to the underbelly of The Carnevale.” This is the first of two additional story DLCs included in the Secrets of Spiral Expansion Pass.

“This additional tale enriches the experience and lets you uncover hidden secrets, new perspectives, and unexpected horrors,” the default explanation of the chapter reads.

Little Nightmares Franchise Information

Little Nightmares 3 was released in October 2025. It was the first game in the franchise developed by Supermassive Games and the lowest-scoring of its trilogy on Metacritic. The previous two games were developed by Tarsier Studios, but all titles have been published by Bandai Namco. At least one more DLC is expected to be added to the game, which will also allow players to dive deeper into The Spiral. That is expected between October and December.
