New LEGO Donkey Kong Set Teased by Nintendo on Social Media

More LEGO Donkey Kong is incoming and ‘rolling soon’, according to a new teaser posted by Nintendo. Earlier today, eagle-eyed and excited fans spotted a reference from Nintendo that revealed nothing about the collaboration but still filled folks with eager anticipation.

It has been almost six years since LEGO and Nintendo first joined forces, introducing Super Mario sets (of course) before pivoting to cover a wide array of Nintendo topics and franchises. Donkey Kong and his family have made several appearances in the LEGO space, prompting fans to wonder what’s coming next.

Is More LEGO Donkey Kong Coming Soon?

If you put stock in Nintendo’s teasers, you’ll know that there’s a LEGO Donkey Kong set of some kind coming soon. This won’t be the first time that the Kong family has appeared in LEGO form, but as we know nothing, this latest collaboration is entirely open to the imagination.

LEGO followed Nintendo by posting the same short teaser on social media, which showcases a congo drum rolling across a desk:

The caption reads, ‘There’s plenty more where this came from,’ but again, that tells us very little about the incoming crossover.

Fans have theorized it could be something linked to the recent Donkey Kong Bananza, or something tied to the Smart Brick platform that LEGO unveiled at the start of 2026.

The new Donkey Kong set, whatever it is, would join the likes of The Legend of Zelda, Game Boy, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and more, all part of the Nintendo x LEGO lineup.

What do you think the new LEGO Donkey Kong set will look like? Let us know on the Insider Gaming Discord server.
