It’s not long until the fifth season of Modern Warfare II and Warzone drops worldwide, and the updates regarding the epic update are spreading like wildfire. From an all-new roadmap to new operators featuring the likes of Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj, there’s going to be plenty for fans to sink their teeth into when the new season rolls out.
Oh, and they’re also using the new season to reveal Modern Warfare III, so there’s that.
But that’s not all that’s coming – for some reason, Call of Duty will also receive an exclusive operator bundle in the form of *checks notes* Lara Croft? It’s not known why the iconic videogame heroine will be making an appearance in the best-selling first-person shooter franchise, but that’s for higher powers to question.
Killstreaks, Miss Croft?
She’s been on our home consoles since 1996 and she’s probably one of the most recognisable characters in the history of gaming, and now she’s preparing to make an appearance in Call of Duty.
It was revealed a short while ago on the PlayStation Blog that Lara Craft will be swinging into action as part of an all-new operator bundle arriving in ‘the mid-season’. It’s not yet known what this bundle will contain, but you can bet your last dollar it’ll be the lady herself, exclusive weapon skins, a weapon charm (probably an ice pick), and some stickers, or something.
