The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) drew the North American league’s lowest-ever viewership in Spring 2026.
The LCS Spring 2026 regular season attracted a new low of 86k viewers as interest in the LoL league dropped.
Now, according to Esports Charts, the LCS Spring 2026 Playoffs only peaked at 183,152 live viewers, an all-time low for an LCS split.
The peak viewership came during the LCS Playoffs final as LYON swept Team Liquid in three straight games.

Jynxzi Fails to Have an Impact
And this was despite the fact that popular streamer Nicholas ‘Jynxzi’ Stewart co-streamed the final between LYON and Team Liquid.
Earlier this year, Jynxzi hosted a content creator LoL tournament with over 900k viewers, one of the most-watched LoL events this year.
In comparison, his co-stream of the LCS finals appears to have peaked at only 44,416.
Though, that comparison may be unfair considering the content creator event benefitted from various streamer’s audiences and the free Twitch Drops.
LCS Spring 2026 Flops
Surprisingly, the LCS Spring Split Playoffs’ peak audience of just over 183k was not NA’s biggest audience in 2026.
The LYON and Team Liquid final just barely failed to beat the LCS Lock-In, which peaked at 184,969 viewers during LYON vs Cloud9.
It seems the continued failures of Cloud9, one of the LCS’s most decorated a popular teams, is hurting the league.

Before this year, no LCS split had failed to crack the 200,000 viewers milestone.
There was also an alarming drop off in average viewership this split.
LCS Spring averaged 63,949 viewers, while the Lock-In recorded 89,516 during the Lock-In, representing a drop of almost 29%.
