Can You Play NASCAR 25 on Xbox Game Pass?
No, NASCAR 25 will not be available to play with an Xbox Game Pass subscription when the title releases on October 14.
Although Microsoft’s Game Pass additions for the full month of October have yet to be shared, as the current announcement covers until October 7, NASCAR 25 is not expected to be among the other additions joining the service later in the month.
NASCAR 25 is not a first-party Xbox title, which would result in automatic inclusion in the service, and any announcement of NASCAR 25 joining the service would have been made well in advance.
Will NASCAR 25 Come to Xbox Game Pass?
NASCAR 25 could be added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog in the future, though there is no indication that it will happen.
The door remains open for most titles to be added to the catalog during their lifespan, which remains the case for NASCAR 25, developer iRacing having no history of bringing their titles onto the service.
However, there have been free-play weekends for ExoCross previously, so it’s clear there is a relationship between the developer and Microsoft, though it’s more likely that a free-play weekend for NASCAR 25 will be available at some point, rather than the full title releasing on the subscription service.
Many annual sports game releases do make it onto Game Pass eventually, though, usually toward the end of their lifespan in a bid to attract more attention to its upcoming successor.
