Is Meccha Chameleon On PlayStation, Xbox Or Nintendo Switch? All Platforms

It’s always a great moment when a new indie title blows up online, and Meccha Chameleon is the latest to earn the honor. Selling over a million copies in its first week, the hide-and-seek game has got everyone eager to join in with the fun.

That said, indie games always raise the question as to where they’re playable, with many winding up being PC exclusive, especially in their early days.

With that in mind, here’s every platform that Meccha Chameleon is playable on, with every major console covered.

Can You Play Meccha Chameleon On PS5?

We’ll have to kick things off on a negative note, as Meccha Chameleon is currently unavailable on the PlayStation 5.

It’s not just PS5, either, as it’s not playable on any PlayStation console out there. That sets a worrying benchmark, as most games find their way onto PlayStation these days—just ask XBOX!

However, Meccha Chameleon is a relatively new release, and with it being a smaller indie title, a PlayStation port was likely low on the priority list. As things stand, it doesn’t seem like it will be coming to PS5 any time soon, but that could always change in the future.

Can You Play Meccha Chameleon On XBOX?

Just like PlayStation, Meccha Chameleon is not available on either the XBOX Series X|S or past-gen.

It’s a shame, too, as Meccha Chameleon looks like the perfect party game to play with friends, but unfortunately, it’s not currently an option.

As with other platforms, that can always be amended, but you might have a wait on your hands, as the developer caters to the high player count on Steam first.

Can You Play Meccha Chameleon On Nintendo Switch?

To round off the consoles, it’s here we have to reveal that Meccha Chameleon is a PC exclusive title, as it’s also not playable on either Nintendo Switch consoles.

To be fair, if there was any console out there where Meccha Chameleon might work best, it’s probably the Nintendo Switch 2. With the new mouse controls, painting your little character and blending them in would be far easier than on the likes of PlayStation or XBOX.

That said, it seems to be a pipedream, as there seems to be no mention of a Nintendo Switch version of the game in the works. For now, you’ll have to boot up your PC and play there instead.
