How To Unlock Feng 82 in Black Ops 6 & Warzone—Unlock Requirements Explained

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are adding the Feng 82 to unlock. We’ll see how popular it is, but the first details reveal the weapon hits like an absolute truck and spells doom for anyone in its path.

CoD’s extensive armory of guns means there’s something for everyone. Take Season 2 as an example; the PPSh-41 is a bonafide, rapid-fire SMG destroyer up close, whereas the Cypher 091 is an all-around demon. The Peng 82 adds to the intensity of the fray and is highlighted frequently in the S2 debut trailer.

There are a few reasons, so let’s dive to prone below to discuss the Peng 82’s potential and various unlock requirements.

The Peng 82 can be unlocked very early as the HVT redeemable on Page 3 of the Season 2 Battle Pass, on Page 10 as a Blueprint, or as a quick unlock through a CoD Shop bundle.

Three options, three different ways to acquire the Peng, and at least one is likely to suit you.

If you have a free Battle Pass or a paid one, it doesn’t matter. Play enough Black Ops 6 and Warzone either way to level up the pass, and you can eventually hit Page 3 and earn enough XP to claim the HVT Tier—the Peng 82.

You can wait longer to claim the gun through its exclusive Blueprint on Page 10. Or, if you want the Peng now, buy a bundle. I’m not saying to do it, but Season 2’s launch comes with various pricey bundles in the CoD Shop. This allows you to spend real money and start using the Peng 82 without needing to earn it.

Feng 82 Stats Explained in Black Ops 6 & Warzone

The Peng 82 has the most Weapon Levels to burn through of any new Season 2 gun, the most Magazines, and has lots of content to work toward.

Don’t take my word for it, take it from Activision on their Season 2 blog page. They’ve gone one step further and given us all an in-depth look at the values of each Peng 82 statistic.

You can see them all here for yourself—the Peng looks Peng (sorry, British slang).

What Type of Gun is The Feng 82?

Light Machine Gun is the official weapon type of the Peng 82 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Activision is going close to a full house of classes in Season 2. We have a new AR, SMG, and Marksman Rifle, and the Peng 82 fits nicely into the LMG category.

The official description says it’s a “Full-auto light machine gun. Very slow rate of fire with great damage and handling,” meaning each bullet will pack a punch. If you add some Attachments to increase its fire rate, the Feng 82 sounds as competitive as any other LMG and perhaps stronger Assault Rifles—factoring in range.

Is the Peng 82 the best new addition in Season 2? Are you partial to an LMG yourself? Drop a comment below and let us know.
