How To Sign Up For Diablo 4 Server Slam

On Thursday, Blizzard announced another chance to play Diablo 4 before it launches in June in the form of the “Server Slam” event. The play event, which runs from May 12-14, will be open to all players on all platforms. That means there’s no true need to sign up for the Diablo 4 Server Slam, but you will have to download software to play.

Below you can find instructions for each platform directly from Blizzard. It should be noted that pre-downloading for the event doesn’t begin until May 10.

How To Play Diablo 4 Server Slam

PC

  • Launch the Battle.net client. If Diablo IV is not already in your Favorites bar, you can add it by clicking on the + icon. Alternatively, you can find Diablo IV by accessing the All Games page. You’ll see Diablo IV at the top of the list.
  • Once you get to the Diablo IV Game Page, click the dropdown menu under Game Version and select the Diablo IV – Server Slam option. Click the blue button that says Install. The game will begin to install, and once it’s available, click Play to Launch.

Xbox

  • Launch the Xbox Store and search for Diablo IV–Server Slam. Select Download.

PlayStation

  • Launch the PlayStation Store and search for Diablo IV–Server Slam. Select Download.

If you have the Diablo IV Open Beta downloaded still:

  • Once the Early Download period begins, an update will be available for you to download. After Server Slam starts, you can begin your journey into Sanctuary.

If you decide you want to play it on Xbox or PlayStation systems, you’ll be happy to know that you won’t need to be a member of Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus to play. The only exception to that will be in Germany where you’ll need to have a PlayStation Plus subscription because of rating requirements.

Are you going to sign up and play in the Diablo 4 Server Slam event in May?

Diablo 4 launches June 6 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
