Sniper Elite Resistance is intense on your own, but multiplayer and co-op only add to the immersion. Having someone by your side trying to remain undetected adds to the drama and creates more dilemmas in missions.
The fear and anxiety I have playing Sniper Elite Resistance on my own is palpable enough. I can’t decide if adding a second person to the equation would make things better or worse. It’s definitely going to be more fun though, and the Sniper Elite series has always encouraged multiplayer and co-op.
Lots of things feel familiar in Sniper Elite Resistance, one of which is the incorporation of multiplayer and co-op.
How To Play Co-op in Sniper Elite Resistance
Playing Sniper Elite Resistance in co-op or multiplayer requires you to “Host co-op game,” and invite someone, “Find a co-op game,” or send a direct invitation via your friend list.
There are three ways you can go about co-op play. I’ll point out that the find co-op game option is if you want to play with a random player. Just quick, no-nonsense, jump into the action gameplay with someone you’re unfamiliar with.
The other two methods are tailored toward budding up with a friend in Sniper Elite Resistance.
How To Invite A Friend in Sniper Elite Resistance
You can either invite someone using the “host co-op game” function or send an invite directly using the social mechanics.
I’m presuming you own Sniper Elite Resistance, and you know the interface. So let me show you what you need to do step-by-step for greater ease:
- Choose Play on Sniper Elite Resistance’s home menu screen, and choose your invite preference:
- Start Host co-op game and then choose Invite Friend.
- Press Triangle on PlayStation, Y on Xbox, or the applicable keybind on PC.
- Select a Friend Online you want to invite.
- Now press on Invite To Game.
- The other player needs to accept the invitation.
- If everything works, you should now be together in the same lobby ready to play!
Be warned: If you’re in the middle of an unfinished mission, any autosave progress is overwritten. So either complete your last mission or ensure you’ve manually saved the game first!
Axis Invasion is still possible in co-op multiplayer too. So turn the feature on and have some tandem trading of bullets with invading players.
