For the first time in years, Verdansk is returning to Call of Duty: Warzone, but it’s not alone. It’s coming back with some of the best weapons Warzone players have ever seen, including the Kilo 141, the AMAX, and the HDR sniper rifle. In this snapshot guide, I’ll teach you how to get the Kilo in Warzone and Black Ops 6.

Where to Unlock the Kilo in Warzone
You can unlock the Kilo 141 for free in Warzone 24 hours before Verdansk returns on April 3. It’ll be available when you download the Call of Duty: Warzone game files after the launch of Season 03 on April 2. It’s listed as a ‘download and launch reward’, so you literally need to install Warzone and boot it up to get the Kilo 141.
The Kilo will remain unlockable during the limited-time event named ‘Return to Verdansk’. In this event, players can unlock exclusive items, weapon skins, emblems, and more just for completing a series of challenges based in and around Verdansk.

What Happens If I Miss the Return to Verdansk Event?
Even if you don’t participate in the Return to Verdansk event and fail to secure the Kilo during the free trial, you’ll still have a chance to unlock it later.
The Kilo 141 will be available down the line as an Armory unlock midway through Season 03. That means you’ll need to complete a specific challenge to unlock the Kilo in Warzone forever.
Best Kilo Loadout for Warzone
As we don’t yet know which attachments will be available on the Kilo 141 in Verdansk, it’s impossible to say what the best loadout will be for the rifle. We do know it’ll have 42 weapon levels, a base ammo count of 90 rounds, and mastery badges will be available.
But if it comes equipped with the classic attachments, the best Kilo loadout for Verdansk would look a little something like this:
- Muzzle Break
- Singuard Arms 19.8″
- 50 Round Magazine
- Commando Foregrip
- VLK Optic
