The Frozen Trail update has introduced tons of new content to ARC Raiders, and one of the highlights is a new ARC threat: the Skulker. Lurking in the shadows, it’ll spring when you least expect it, dealing heavy bouts of damage in short bursts.
They might seem small and fragile, but don’t underestimate them, as they pack a punch. In due time, you’ll need to learn how to take them down, especially if you’re after some Skulker Targeters. With that in mind, here’s the best way to destroy a Skulker in ARC Raiders, as well as what you get for doing so.
How To Get A Skulker Targeter In ARC Raiders

Skulker Targeters are a unique drop obtained by killing a Skulker in ARC Raiders.
At surface value, these Uncommon items can be used as a deployable turret, which will target any nearby ARC or raiders. It will deal 9 damage and has a range of 25m. Not the most devastating weapon, but great as a piece of defensive cover.
However, like most ARC items, it’s bound to serve more of a purpose when crafting certain gear, though exactly what remains to be seen. As more uses become obvious, we’ll be sure to update this guide, but expect it to be needed for upcoming Projects and events.
How To Kill A Skulker In ARC Raiders
It’s not too difficult to take down a Skulker in ARC Raiders, as you’ll simply rely on dealing enough damage to one.
Unlike most ARC, a Skulker doesn’t have any notable direct weak points. They’ll glide across the floor and shrink down in size when moving, making them hard to hit and easy to lose track of.
That said, there are still a few strategies worth employing, such as targeting its thrusters, which help it move, or destroying its scorpion-like rifle when it takes aim. Both of these will impede its ability to deal damage back at you, giving you the chance to strike back with enough firepower to take it down.
