Marvel Rivals is the latest free-to-play shooter from Netease, featuring iconic heroes and supervillains from the popular comic universe. As the title is free-to-play, most of the skins in Marvel Rivals are locked behind in-app purchases or the battle pass. However, players can acquire some free skins through codes, completing certain challenges, platform-specific rewards and subscription benefits. This guide will help you learn how to get free skins in Marvel Rivals.
Free Marvel Rivals Skins for All Platforms
There are four free Marvel Rivals skins that players on all available platforms can grab. One is unlocked through a code, two by completing challenges, and the last requires some skill.
Iron Man Armor Model 42 Skin
Players must use a bundle code to claim this free skin in Marvel Rivals. Head to the game’s ‘Home’ tab and click the ‘Options’ button on the controller. You must click ‘Bundle Code’ and enter ‘nwarh4k3xqy’ in the field. Then, the free Iron Man Armor Model 42 Marvel Rivals skins will be added to the ‘Cosmetics’ section for Iron Man in the ‘Heroes’ tab.
Storm Ivory Breeze Skin
For this skin, players will need to complete a set of challenges. Click on your profile in the top right corner of your screen on the home page to open your Career overview. Then, move to the ‘Achievements’ tab by pressing ‘R1’ and scroll down to ‘Heroic Journey’. You will find a range of hero-specific quests in this section, and completing each will reward you with either 10 or 5 points.
Rack up 200 points to unlock the Storm Ivory Breeze Skin for free, which will be added to the ‘Cosmetics’ section for Storm in the ‘Heroes’ tab.
Star-Lord Jovial Star
Like the Storm Ivory Breeze costume, this free Marvel Rivals also needs you to rack up achievement points in ‘Heroic Journey’. Collect 400 points to unlock Jovial Star for Star-Lord for free, and it will be added to the ‘Cosmetics’ section in the ‘Heroes’ tab for this character.
Moon Knight Golden Moonlight skin
This free skin will need some grinding from your end as it needs you to reach a certain rank in competitive mode. If you hit the ‘Gold’ rank in the ‘Competitive’ game mode, then you will unlock Golden Moonlight skin for Moon Knight for free. However, it might take time, and new players must reach level 10 to unlock this game mode.
