There’s a plethora of currency types you can earn in FragPunk, but the most lucrative by far are FragPunk Coins. The freshly released stylized tactical shooter has no shortage of items you can buy, and FragPunk Coins offer the most purchasing power.
However, FragPunk Coins are the “premium currency” in the game, meaning that you’re encouraged to spend real money on them. But we’ve outlined the ways in which you can earn FragPunk Coins, while doing a deep dive on all the different currency types in FragPunk.
All Currency Types in FragPunk
Here are all the earnable currency types in FragPunk, including information on how they’re earned and whey can be spent on.
- FragPunk Coins: The premium currency in FragPunk. FragPunk Coins are used to buy the premium battle pass, premium items in the shop, and Rare (or higher) quality skins for Weapons and Lancers. They are primary purchased in-game with real money, but a limited amount can also be earned through various means.
- Glunite Coins: Glunite Coins can be spent on common Lancer skins, common Lancer cards and covers, common weapon skins, emotes, gestures, and sprays. Players earn Glunite Coins at the end of every match, but also by completing challenges, achievements, and events.
- Gold: Gold is primarily used to unlock additional Lancers from the roster, but it can also be used to buy a couple of store items. Gold is earned alongside Glunite Coins, from completing matches and events.
- Club Supplies: Club Supplies are used in the Club section of the Redeem page under the Store. They can be used to buy sticker packs, skin keys, and other items. To earn Club Supplies, you’ll need to join a Club and complete Club challenges and events.
- Ranking Coins: Ranking Coins are used to unlock exclusive weapon skins. Ranking Coins are earned by completing Ranked matches, which require you to first reach account level 30.
- Membership Tokens: Membership Tokens are used to unlock exclusive weapon skins, Pop Cans, and Skin Keys. Ranking Coins are earned by completing Ranked matches, which require you to first reach account level 30.
- Battle Pass Tokens: Earned by completing battle pass challenges after earning all previous premium battle pass rewards. They can be used to buy sticker packs, Skin Keys, and other items.
- Skin Keys: Lancer and Weapon Skin Keys can be spent to unlock upgrades to both Lancer and weapon skins with different color options. Skin Keys can be acquired from events, challenges, or opening Pop Cans.
- Pop Cans: Pop Cans are FragPunk’s version of loot boxes, used on the lottery page to earn random rewards. They’re earned through events or by spending Glunite Coins.
Can You Earn Free FragPunk Coins in FragPunk?
The only way to get free FragPunk Coins so far is to get them gifted to you following server outages. In FragPunk’s first full week, there’s been a couple of server outage issues, and the devs have sent players compensation that includes FragPunk Coins. To find these rewards, hit the Mailbox icon on the bottom right in the main menu.
Aside from server outage compensation, the only other way to get FragPunk Coins is to buy them. You can either purchase them directly, or you can sign up for a paid membership to earn up to 1,200 FragPunk Coins.
