How To Easily Complete All ARC Raiders Trials This Week (January 19)

Week 13 of ARC Raiders is officially here, and so is the latest batch of Trials. These objectives change weekly, as do the rewards, but they’re a great way to earn some additional loot whilst you’re on a raid.

Every week, there are five Trials for you to work on, and each one has a score. You earn points by completing activities tied to the Trial, and if you manage to scrounge up 4,000 points, you’ll earn the high-tier rewards.

In this guide, you’ll find out what the latest batch of Trials are in ARC Raiders, as well as the best methods to complete each one.

Every Week 13 Trial In ARC Raiders

There are five new Trials in ARC Raiders this week, which range from looting ARC containers to battling some of the fiercest enemies in the game—Shredders included.

Here’s the full list of Trials for ARC Raiders Week 13:

  • Damage Queens or Matriarchs
  • Search First Wave husks
  • Damage flying ARC enemies
  • Deal damage to Shredders
  • Open ARC Probes

Remember that if you complete these Trials during an active map condition, such as Night Raid, you’ll earn double the amount of points. Of course, you only earn the points if you successfully extract, so make sure you’ve got what it takes to endure some of the tougher conditions.

How To Complete ‘Damage Queens Or Matriarchs’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

As the Trial suggests, you’ll need to go toe-to-toe with ARC Raiders’ most dangerous foes, either the Queen or the Matriarch.

These elite enemies will only spawn on their related map condition. The Queen spawns during ‘The Harvester’ event, whilst the Matriarch spawns on the aptly titled ‘Matriarch’ event. To deal damage to these titans, though, you’re going to need a solid loadout.

Here are some recommended pieces of kit to take on your next raid if you plan to fight a Queen or Matriarch:

  • Anvil / Ferro / Bettina / Hullcracker
  • Stitcher / Venator / Kettle
  • Medium Shield
  • 10x Shield Rechargers
  • 5x Herbal Bandages / 10x Bandages / 3x Defibs
  • 2x Wolfpacks / 2x Deadline Mines / Snap Hook (Optional)

If you’re looking for the best place to fight one of these, then consider the Blue Gate Harvester Event. The Queen that spawns will guard the Harvester, but she can be lured a little bit away to a convenience store that serves as a great bit of cover.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into Blue Gate during the Harvester event.
  2. Head to the convenience store just to the left of the Gate Approach.
  3. Shoot the Queen to get its attention, and then duck inside the store—it shouldn’t be able to hurt you inside.
  4. Whilst it’s over the store, shoot at its legs with your Heavy Weaponry.
  5. If the face is visible, shoot at the small panels on either side of the central red light. This will reveal the core.
  6. Aim for the core when you can to do some serious damage, or continue to chip away at its armor.
  7. Once you three-star the event, you can either head to the extract or continue until the Queen is killed.
  8. Successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Search First Wave Husks’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

First Wave Husks are destroyed ARC shells that can be seen scattered across the various maps. You’ll need to breach multiple of them to three-star the event.

This is one of the easier Trials for the week, and it can be completed on multiple maps. A great one to try, though, is Dam Battlegrounds. If you head to the Old Battleground POI, you’ll find a variety of husks to search, including:

  • Barons
  • Wasps
  • Rocketeers

Breach and search all you can find in this area to three-star the Trial with ease. Beware, though, as the Baron husks have a way of fighting back. Once you climb the corpse and start to breach, fire will erupt from the top of its head. Drop down to avoid the flames and return to loot it once they’ve subsided.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into Dam Battlegrounds.
  2. Head to the Old Battleground POI.
  3. Search any and all husks in the surrounding area.
  4. Successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Damage Flying ARC Enemies’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

To complete this Trial in ARC Raiders, all you have to do is shoot at any and all flying ARC.

There are five flying ARCs in ARC Raiders. These are:

  • Spotter
  • Snitch
  • Wasp
  • Hornet
  • Rocketeer

Damaging any of these ARC enemies will count towards completing the Trial, so it’s by far one of the easiest to three-star. A great method is to bring a Renegade or Osprey, and snipe all flying ARC from atop the Pipeline Tower during a Night Raid on Dam Battlegrounds.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into Dam Battlegrounds during a Night Raid with any long-range weapon.
  2. Head to the Pipeline Tower and reach the roof.
  3. Use your long-range weapon to snipe any and all flying ARC.
  4. Repeat this until you’ve earned three stars for the Trial.
  5. Successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Deal Damage To Shredders’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

Shredders are exclusive to the ARC Raiders map Stella Montis, and these hovering drones can pack quite the punch.

Despite their reputation as one of ARC Raiders’ scarier enemies, the Shredder can actually be dispatched fairly easily. All you have to do is aim for their thrusters, and you don’t even need the heaviest of weapons to get the job done.

That being said, if you’re looking for the quickest method to complete this Trial, and you’ve got the resources, try using a Hullcracker. One of these can drop a Shredder in as few as two hits—so long as you’ve levelled the gun up to Tier 4, that is.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into Stella Montis, ideally during a Night Raid for additional points.
  2. Find and kill Shredders. These can usually be found in abundance in and around the Medical Research POI.
  3. Successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Open ARC Probes’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

Of all the trials, this one might be the easiest. Probes are located on most maps in ARC Raiders, but they can be found in abundance during the Prospecting Probes event.

These Probes are typically easy to find, thanks to the loud pinging sound they emit. Bear in mind that whilst they’re being breached, they’ll emit an even louder, warbling sound, which could attract other ARC—or raiders.

The quickest way to complete this Trial is during the Prospecting Probes event, which can occur on the following maps:

  • Dam Battlegrounds
  • Spaceport
  • Buried City
  • The Blue Gate

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into any map during the Prospecting Probes event.
  2. Search for multiple Probes, and breach them.
  3. Successfully extract.

If you manage to get three stars for each Trial, not only should you rank up, but there’s a chance you could even earn some rare loot like a Blueprint or two. If you do, show off your earnings in the official Insider Gaming Discord.
