Fortnitemares 2025 is underway in Fortnite, with a host of collabs to enjoy, and there’s even a free Pyg the Butcher skin available to unlock.
A total of nine huge collabs are featured in Fortnitemares 2025, including Scooby-Doo, Ghostface, and R.E.P.O, and free rewards are available with Twitch Drops—but that’s not the only way to claim free goodies during the event.

How to Unlock Free Pyg The Butcher Fortnite Skin
The Pyg the Butcher skin and other Fortnitemares rewards are unlocked by earning account levels during the event.
Every level you increase by on the Battle Pass, including in the additional rewards, counts towards the objective, though you can also continue to earn account levels if you have unlocked all of the available rewards from the Battle Passes this season.
To claim the Pyg the Butcher skin, a total of 15 account levels must be earned. The skin is the final reward available in the event, alongside the Butcher’s Knife Pickaxe, Back Bling, and more.
All Fortnitemares Free Cosmetic Unlocks
There are seven free rewards available to claim during the Fortnitemares event in Fortnite by earning account levels, with the final reward being the Pyg the Butcher skin.
This includes the entire cosmetic set for Pyg the Butcher, including a Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Emote, along with two loading screens—one of which is for Poppy’s Playtime, which is one of many huge collabs in the Fortnitemares event.
