How to Link Twitch With SHiFT Account For Borderlands 4
Before you can start earning Twitch drops for Borderlands 4, you need to link your SHiFT account to Twitch. If you have done this in the past for previous games, you don’t need to do it again, but at the very least, check to make sure your accounts are linked before you start watching.
- To start, sign in to your SHiFT account.
- In the top left of the page, click Gaming Platforms.
- Now click Sign In under Twitch.
- Make sure you are signing into the proper Twitch account if there are multiple people who use your device.
- After signing in, your accounts will be linked.
- To ensure everything is connected, look for “SHiFT Website” in the Other Connections area of your Twitch Settings.
Now that your accounts are linked, you can start gaining progress towards active drop rewards by watching streamers who are playing Borderlands 4. You should see “Drops Enabled” in the stream title or in the chat.
Once you have met the viewing time for a reward, you will get a notification on Twitch. Go to your drops inventory page, find the reward, and click Redeem. Make sure you do this within 24 hours of earning the reward. Once redeemed, the item will automatically appear in the reward center of your Borderlands 4 inventory. If you were already playing the game when you redeemed, restart the game, and you should see it.
All Borderlands 4 Twitch Drop Rewards
At launch, there is only one reward available for Borderlands 4 through Twitch drops, and it is a skin for the ECHO-4 drone.
It only takes 30 minutes of watching to earn this reward, which is likely going to be the standard time for most rewards. In the future, there is potential for more skins and SHiFT keys that can be used to unlock loot boxes in-game that reward you with new guns.
