Bulldogs Under the Rug is a new Escape from Tarkov quest that has fans scouring every map for smugglers, eager to eliminate them and take their loot. Fortunately, it’s a very easy task that yields some excellent rewards.
Below, I’ve outlined what you need to do to dominate this mission. If you want to solve Bulldogs Under the Rug in a matter of minutes, scroll down, load up with some decent gear, and head out into Escape from Tarkov.
Where are Smugglers in Escape from Tarkov?
In a new event added to Escape from Tarkov today, ‘smugglers’ have popped up on Customs, Woods, and Shoreline. They’re roaming enemies that can be found at any location, so be prepared to get ambushed. They’re typically on par with Raiders when it comes to their equipment, so expect Tier 5 armor and semi-decent weapons.
On social media, Escape from Tarkov players have reported clashing with smugglers in locations such as:
- Woods near Sawmill
- Shoreline near Power Station
- Shoreline in Smuggler’s Base
- Customs near Construction
But it’s a safe assumption you’ll find them anywhere (maps unconfirmed).
Where is the Smuggler’s Camp on Shoreline?
The Smuggler’s Camp on Shoreline is where you’d expect it to be! It’s in the top-right of the map, near the Smuggler’s Path extraction point:
Now, once you’ve gone here and assumedly killed at least one smuggler, you’ll be tasked to ‘find evidence’. This is located on a table in a container, indicated on the below map:
Once you’ve got that note, you need to successfully extract and hand it to Peacekeeper to finish the quest.
Bulldogs Under the Rug Quest Rewards
When you complete Bulldogs Under the Rug, you’ll get a bounty of rewards:
- 10,000 XP
- 700 Dollars
- 1 x FN SCAR-H
- 6 x FN SCAR-H 20-rnd Magazine
- 8 x M80A1 ammo packs
That’s not bad for a task that might take you all of about ten minutes! As a bonus, loot those dead smugglers and take the keys for the Locked Case items!
