GTA 6 might be a mere year (or so) away, but that isn’t stopping Rockstar Games from pouring updates into GTA Online, the cash cow title that has been front and centre of the franchise for over a decade. In a recent post, Rockstar revealed that the next major update for GTA Online – which is set to drop in the coming weeks – will bring a new bounty hunter-themed venture to the game, allowing players to set up their own twisted law enforcement agency and chase down nefarious criminals.
Still Going Strong
Many players are still locked in firmly on GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto 5, whether they’re playing the ‘vanilla’ offering or enjoying something more bespoke through one of the many GTA RP platforms around. One of the most popular practices in the world of GTA RP is assuming the role of a police officer and attempting to stop virtual crimes in a digital world, with many players seeing success in streaming these activities online.
Of course, many of them are mocked for taking it way too seriously, but who are we to judge how people spend their time in GTA Online?
Rockstar Games recently revealed that the next major update in GTA Online will introduce a new pursuit based on that concept: being a cop in San Andreas. In a few weeks, players will be able to set up a bail enforcement agency, hunting down bounties and capturing criminals on the run from the courts. It’s the perfect time to RP as Dog the Bounty Hunter in GTA Online, and Rockstar is even introducing a range of outfits to help you become immersed in that practice.
The next update will bring further changes to the GTA Creator tool as well as several quality-of-life changes that will impact mission times and rewards, snacks, and the armour ratings on certain vehicles.
