Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 is coming to PC Game Pass in the future. According to a new rumor from Tez2 on Twitter, Rockstar Games is getting GTA 5 ready for the service.
“Rockstar Games is preparing [GTA 5] to be playable via Xbox’s PC Game Pass for future availability,” he posted to Twitter.
The game used to be available on Xbox Game Pass before it was removed earlier this year. It lasted just six months on the service before it was taken down. A reason for the game’s removal from the service was never provided after it happened. It was also removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog earlier this year.
There’s no mention in the rumor if GTA 5 would return to Xbox Game Pass for console owners.

Currently, Rockstar Games is working on GTA 6, which is scheduled to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you are hoping to play the latest GTA from Rockstar on PC when it releases, you’re going to have to wait even longer.
