God of War Ragnarok will be released for PC tomorrow, September 19, 2024. Ahead of the release, the developers have revealed new gameplay and accessibility features for the PC port.
God of War Ragnarok PC Features
According to the blog post, two new settings, Reduced Puzzle Hints and Cinematic Audio Description, will be released with the PC version of God of War Ragnarok; the console version will receive them soon. Reduced Puzzle Hints is a new tool that reduces the frequency “ with which you hear puzzle hints from your companions.” The option can be found in the Gameplay Settings tab.
The Cinematic Audio Description feature plays “audio descriptions of visual events” during cutscenes. The descriptions include “contextual information alongside the spoken dialogue to create a more detailed experience for players with low vision.” To use this feature, players must enable the Audio Description setting in the Audio Accessibility Menu.
