Love this thread, always fun to see how different everyone's lists are!

Top 5 All-Time:
1. Red Dead Redemption 2
2. The Witcher 3
3. Mass Effect 2
4. God of War (2018)
5. GTA San Andreas

Top 5 Recent:
1. Cyberpunk 2077 (post 2.0 update is a completely different game)
2. Elden Ring
3. Ghost of Tsushima
4. Black Myth: Wukong
5. Baldur's Gate 3

Honestly limiting it to 5 is brutal. RDR2 and Witcher 3 are basically tied for me depending on my mood. And Cyberpunk deserves so much more credit now after the 2.0 overhaul it's easily one of the best open world games out there if you give it a second chance.

And when I’m not exploring those massive open worlds, I usually jump on to play some quick games and unwind.

Our tastes are almost identical

I still haven't played Baldur's Gate 3 yet. Do you think I will enjoy it if I mainly like cinematic games with great stories like Witcher and Mass Effect?

Hard to beat the mix of story and gameplay in those - each one just hits differently.

Nice list. That’s a strong mix of story-driven games and newer ones like BG3 and Cyberpunk 2077 after the update.
