According to a new report, the next-generation Xbox consoles are in full production with a targeted launch of 2027.

Hmm okay well this sounds legit so far... I wonder if the PS6 is indeed coming in 2028 or it's actually 2027 though just like the upcoming next-gen Xbox console or whatever it's going to be.
 
I think, personally, Sony sticks with their planned 2028 release. They don't need to rush things with how they are doing compared to Xbox right now

Agreed and it wouldn't make sense for them to release it in 2027 with their recent FSR 4 and AI implementation plans for 2026 etc. So 2028 would make more sense and mean a better PS5/PS5 Pro generation and the PS6 hardware and games been better as well. So I think we all can wait 1 year or more and get a better product overall.
