Is Call of Duty really dying?

Call of Duty has so many issues like hacking, yet the player numbers are huge. Many companies have tried to take over Call of Duty with various FPS titles but Call of Duty always stayed at top. Visibly no one seems to like SBMM on the internet, but apparently that's what keeping the players hooked up. So many issues every year, yet the game stays at top no matter what.
