How Are You Using TikTok to Share Gaming Content? Tips, Ideas, or Lessons Learned?

Hey everyone,


I’ve been noticing a lot of gaming creators and even small studios posting their gameplay clips, updates, and memes on TikTok lately. The reach seems insane compared to other platforms. I'm thinking about testing it out for some upcoming content, but I’d love to hear from anyone who's already doing it.


How are you using TikTok for gaming content? Are short gameplay clips still working, or are voiceovers, trends, or story-style content doing better these days? Also, what’s your take on hashtags, posting times, or using music to boost reach?


I’ve also come across a few alternative apps (protiktok18.com) using the same short-form format, and it made me wonder how far this content style can go—even beyond gaming.

I think it's just a crapshoot still. I know @Grant Taylor-Hill has had luck with just gameplay clips. Hell, I think a video of him opening up a can in game went viral.

I really like how TikTok makes it easy to share gaming content in fun and creative ways! I’ve learned that short clips showing exciting or funny moments work best people love quick highlights. Adding trending hashtags also helps to reach more viewers. It’s also great to engage with comments and other gamers it builds a nice community. Overal, TikTok is a great place to share gaming passion and connect with others who love the same games!
