Earlier today, Ubisoft canceled its online appearance at the Tokyo Game Show due to “various circumstances”; however, Isndier Gaming has learned that Ubisoft has also canceled its press previews of Assassin's Creed Shadows.

I imagine the game is too far along to be reimagined.

Likely a big nothing. Some recent bad press which would undoubtedly take away from any TGS presentation planned (Japanese focused event after all!)

While this sounds like a delay I can't think Ubisoft is able to afford it. They need a big success (sales-wise).
