Fortnite Winterfest has officially begun, and there is a heap of tasks to complete for extra XP, with more to be added, including finding and delivering the Perfect Gift.
Lt. Winter has plenty of quests to complete during Winterfest, though these won’t appear immediately and, instead, drop every few days into Fortnite, and ticking them off is a great way to edge closer to Battle Pass completion.

How to Get a Perfect Gift in Fortnite
There is no specific way to guarantee a Perfect Gift in Fortnite. Instead, it’s a random drop that can be obtained when opening any chest.
While there isn’t a set location to visit, you can still boost your odds of finding the item by visiting POIs and locations that have an abundance of chests to loot. However, this comes with the risk of encountering enemy players, particularly if you visit POIs that are popular landing spots.
Fortunately, there’s no shortage of chests across the island in any Battle Royale match and, rather than focusing finding a Perfect Gift and completing the quest, the best approach is to play as you normally would, then turn your attention to the quest when the item drops.
It may take several matches before you find a Perfect Gift from a chest, but there’s no need to rush as the quests won’t be disappearing any time soon, and Winterfest has only just begun.
How to Bring a Perfect Gift to a Character
Finding a Perfect Gift is only the first step, as you also need to deliver it to a character. However, be careful when doing this, as being eliminated before completing the task puts you back to square one.
There isn’t a specific character that you must deliver the Perfect Gift to. Instead, you can choose whichever one you like, although the easiest option is always to check your map and see which one you are located nearest to.
Looting chests in a POI where a character is present can save a lot of time, too, if you find the Perfect Gift on your hunt, as it will then only be a short distance to reach the character, reducing the risk of being eliminated before you can hand over the present.
When you find a character and have a Perfect Gift, select the dialogue option to deliver the gift to them. Once done, the quest is complete, and a handy boost of XP will be distributed.
