Three New Gamemodes Are Coming to Fortnite in December

A reputable Fortnite leaker has claimed that three new gamemodes will be coming to Fortnite in December.

According to @iFireMonkey, who has accurately leaked many details in relation to upcoming Fortnite events, collaborations, and features, the game will have three new gamemodes in December.

The first of the three gamemodes will be the LEGO Fortnite event, which is rumored to have minecraft-like world-building. Not much is currently known about the event itself but according to iFireMonkey, the event and rewards will become available on December 7.

In addition to the Fortnite event, a ‘Fortnite Festival’ will apparently start on December 9, with a racing gamemode named ‘Rocket Racing’ to take place on December 8.

Allegedly, the Fortnite Festival will contain a ‘Harmonix’ gamemode with has something to do with Rhythm, but what exactly that entails is anyone’s guess. On the other hand, the Rocket Racing event will be a Rocket League collaboration, which has been rumored for some time.

It’s also been heavily rumored that a Doctor Who x Fortnite collaboration could soon be taking place, too. Although not confirmed officially, it’s expected the event would likely come to celebrate 60 years of Doctor Who, which was first aired in November 1963. At the end of November 2023, a special three-part series of Doctor Who will air which will see David Tennant reprise his role of the Doctor.

In April 2023, several script lines in the game under “Fortnite External Filming – 60th Anniversary Event” leaked online.
