The conclusion of Chapter 6 and the huge Zero Point live event resulted in considerable changes to Fortnite, with the Dark Presence seemingly defeated, but a new enemy has emerged with the shocking destruction of the beloved Battle Bus.

How to Get Unstable Element in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1
The Unstable Element in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 is found in Innoloop Labs, a POI located slap-bang in the middle of the island.
In the middle of the location, a large piece of equipment with the Zero Point Shard contained in the center is found. Keep an eye out for a grey circle in the area, with a glowing, pink shard floating in the middle, which leads the way to exactly where you want to go.
Once here, you can begin the process to earn the Unstable Element by following these steps:
- Break the glass beneath the Zero Point Shard to drop into Collider Corridor X.
- Teleport between Tunnel 1 and Tunnel 2 multiple times.
- Once you have done this several times, Unstable Element will be added to your inventory.
How to Use Unstable Element in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1
Unstable Element in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 is used to unlock a secret vault door, with an Epic chest inside containing a host of valuable loot.
Once you have completed the steps outlined above and have the Unstable Element in your inventory, find a Vault Door located next to a Port-a-Potty.
Use the interaction button on your device (F on PC, Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox) to open the vault to reveal the secret chest. Opening the chest provides a random piece of legendary loot, which can turn the tide of every match.
Beware, though, as other players will likely be on the same journey you are, to be prepared for a fight. It’s worth looting to have a strong array of weapons before heading to Innoloop Labs, as the players you may encounter there will have likely looted at other locations and will be ready for a fight.
