Final Fantasy 14’s Crossroads Update Will Arrive With New Quests, a Dungeon and More

Final Fantasy 14’s live letter during the Tokyo Game Show 2024 introduced the upcoming Crossroads update. It will arrive with patch 7.1 in November 2024.

The Crossroads update will be the first significant content patch for Final Fantasy 14 since the Dawntrail expansion and will introduce a variety of main scenario quests, a new dungeon called Yuweyawata Field Station, fresh raids, trials, and much more. Moreover, one of the Alliance Raid Series is a 24-player Raid called Echoes of Vana’diel that will take players to the region where Final Fantasy 11 was based.

During the live letter, Final Fantasy 14’s director, Naoki Yoshida, elaborated on some of the content we can expect from the Crossroads update. We still don’t know the main scenario quests, but Yoshida revealed they will revolve around Zoraal Ja. The update will also bring New Game+ support for patch 7.0, allowing players to replay all quests.

The Crossroads update will also add a new Allied Society Quest series, where players will participate in quests for the Pelupelu and level up faster in the process. Interested players can check out all other announcements through the video embedded below.

In other news, Square Enix recently released Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster and eight other games on Xbox. Also, here are Final Fantasy 16’s system requirements. What are your thoughts on Final Fantasy 14’s Crossroads update? Let us know in the comments or our new community forum!
