Insider Gaming sources have revealed that FIFA 23 will have a brand-new event this April called the ‘Trophy Titans’. It’s believed that the event will take place on April 7, 2023.
As for what the event entails remains to be seen, but it has been suggested that the event will feature the most decorated players that have ever played the game. It’s not understood on how long the event will last, but typically FIFA events last around one to two weeks.
Earlier this week (and reported by Insider Gaming prior), it was announced that the NWSL would be coming to FIFA 23 on March 15.
FIFA 23 will be the last FIFA game under EA, with EA rebranding its series to EA Sports FC. It was announced that more information on what EA Sports FC entails will be made at a later date. Following EA’s announcement of its departure from the series, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in a statement “I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football [soccer] fans. The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on – the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain the best.”
According to Fifauteam.com, which has based its information on past FIFA events, there should be around three more promos after the Trophy Titans. Team of the Season (early May), Shapeshifters (mid-June), and FUTTIES (mid-July) are expected to still be released later this year.
