Eagle-eyed fans have been poring over trademark registrations in the United States in recent hours, digging up information regarding an incoming Atlanta FaZe rebrand. In a post on Reddit, imagery relating to such a rebrand was shared by one user who had found recent trademark applications filed by FaZe Media.
That fact, compounded with the recent abandonment of the Vegas spot by the Falcons (now Riyadh Falcons), has fans expecting a FaZe refresh for the first time since the Call of Duty League started.
Vegas FaZe
On Reddit, user West_Chest_7053 shared images of trademark applications that revealed a new FaZe Vegas logo. It was mentioned that this was a ‘leak’, but it’s not really a leak when it’s publicly accessible information.
Taking a closer look at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, I found two images, one a short and sharp ‘FV’ logo, the other a larger rendition of an F and the word VEGAS.
Both applications were filed on August 18 by FaZe Media.
Atlanta FaZe was the source of much drama following a rocky season this year. The team had a huge shake-up and dismissed both aBeZy and Cellium, two of the grandest talents in the Call of Duty League and OGs in the Atlanta FaZe lineup. While Simp and Drazah remain with FaZe, the two remaining spots are yet to be filled.
It has been a tricky off-season in general, and no roster (well, almost no roster) is going into the CDL 2026 season looking the same. It’s highly unlikely OpTic Texas will make changes, given the team ended this season with a back-to-back Champs win and then a scoop at the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.
