FaZe Clan has defeated FURIA in a no-holds-barred grand final in Paris to win the Rainbow Six Siege portion of the Esports World Cup. As one of the most valuable events in the EWC showcase, the win allowed FaZe Clan to walk away with a massive $750,000 prize and a huge injection of Club Championship points.
The all-Brazilian grand final saw FaZe Clan secure redemption over last year’s paltry finish, which saw the organization crash out of the tournament in 10th place with just $40,000 in its pocket.
FaZe Clan Lifts Another EWC Trophy
FaZe Clan has managed to beat all comers in Paris to secure the EWC trophy in the Rainbow Six Siege category, defeating FURIA with a 3-1 scoreline in the grand final in France. FaZe walks away from the tournament with a massive $750,000 prize, 1,000 Club Championship points, and immediate qualification to the 2027 Six Invitational.
It has been a pretty sweet year for FaZe Clan thus far. The team managed to win the Six Invitational in February and placed high at the BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major before sauntering into Paris to capture the Esports World Cup win.
Of course, FaZe Clan won last year’s Six Invitational too, and many are anticipating a legendary threepeat surfacing in just a few months, now that the team has secured instant qualification by winning at the Esports World Cup.
FaZe Clan put on a masterclass of a performance this weekend, and this win establishes the organization as the first team to win every international Rainbow Six Siege trophy possible.
Coming out of the final series, FaZe Clan’s Cyber was named the EWC MVP for the Rainbow Six Siege section, after racking up incredible stats in the grand final. This secured him an additional $25,000 for his efforts. This was FaZe Clan delivering on promises made, as even Polymarket users had their predictions running in favor of the organization.
