One of the Best Far Cry Games is Getting a New Collector’s Edition

Between April 19 and May 19, fans of Far Cry can pre-order a special collector’s edition of Blood Dragon, the standalone spin-off of Far Cry 3 that was released more than ten years ago. Despite being a ‘minigame’, Blood Dragon is often lauded as being one of the best titles in the series, and Far Cry fans have never forgotten it.

As a result of a partnership between Ubisoft and Limited Run Games, fans can pre-order a merch-filled and brand-new collector’s edition of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in just a couple of days.

Blood Dragon Getting Physical

Limited Run Games has been well-publicised recently for creating physical versions of digital-only games, such as Grounded, Pentiment, and Hi-Fi Rush. Now, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will join that line-up, with Limited Run creating and releasing a $124.99 collectors edition alongside a standard edition that’ll retail for just $34.99.

If you’re a hardcore Far Cry fan, the Limited Run Games site also has a series of other collectables available for pre-order, ranging from stickers and binders to coins and pins.

However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the collector’s edition, which is being released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Here’s what it features:

  • Physical copy of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
  • Collector’s box that turns into a playset
  • USB cassette soundtrack
  • VHS tape featuring trailers and promos
  • Colonel Sloan action figure
  • Sergeant Rex Colt action figure
  • Sticker sheet
  • Booklet
  • Art pamphlet

It’s estimated that pre-orders will ship in September 2024, so even if you pre-order Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on April 19, you’ll have a while to wait before it turns up.
