Counter-Strike 2 Esports Nations Cup roster analysis:
Unlike many other Esports Nations Cup titles, Counter-Strike 2’s circuit runs throughout the year with only two short player breaks after the two Majors in each year.
The CS2 event at ENC is scheduled to run from November 10 to 15, ending only nine days before the start of the PGL Singapore 2026 Major, the most important event of the CS2 calendar.
As a result, only a few players from top organizations have been freed up to play ENC 2026, with few players of the calibre to qualify for a Major present at the event.
Amongst the top talent at the event is the currently orgless PGL Copenhagen MVP, Justinas ‘jL’ Lekavičius, 9z IEM Cologne Major quarter-finalist Matias Ibañez ‘HUASOPEEK’ Hernandez, and M80 German pair Fritz ‘slaxz-‘ Dietrich and Elias ‘sin’ Stein.
Overall, the German team seems to be one of the strongest, but as a unit, the most proven group is undoubtedly the Australian roster, whose players and coach have all played together through iterations of Renegades, Grayhound, and FlyQuest.
Elsewhere, there are a few representatives who will tickle those looking for a hit of nostalgia at the event. Headtap machine, Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom, will play for Morocco alongside his brother Nabil ‘Nivera’ Benrlitom. Similarly, Josh ‘steel’ Nissan’s return will be a blast from the past for Canada fans.
